A significant facility for the community, the Oropi Community hall has had a major renovation and extension of the existing hall creating a new stage, community meeting rooms and outdoor socialising area, self contained play group facility, new commercial style kitchen, bar, toilets and entry with links to a future squash court. Only the bones of the existing hall remain with new cladding, joinery, insulation and internal linings
Over 5 years of extensive community consultation, planning and fundraising effort by the local community and hall committee has resulted in the successful completion of the first 2 of 3 stages of this multi-use community centre and is a testimony to the dedication of those involved.
