The new building is built on two lots as one cohesive building with a precast concrete boundry & central wall. Construction includes steel portal frames steel purlins & girts and long-run cladding to the warehouse portion.
The street frontage has been clad in ZX panel- a new aluminium frame and sheet panel cladding system designed and marketed here in Tauranga. The shop front glazing features coloured glass inserts that reflect the corporate colours.
The new building for Bay Bathroom Design and Build at 47 Unutoto Pl includes a new showroom for their bathrooms and feature products, as well as meeting rooms and offices plus warehouse space.
The new building for Hawes Group at #53 consists of a workshop and yard plus a 2 story office area. Changes to the ground floor area were made during construction as an amendment to increase the space and make it more suitable for a future tenancy option. The first floor has a meeting room, offices, open plan office and a lunch room and the ground floor being a lathe open plan space to provide a variety of options on ho wit is fitted out.
During teh process, and as part of the corporate overview taken by Mark and Anthony, tenants were sought to share the space with Hawes Building Solutions. This lead to an offer of purchase, which after careful consideration, was accepted so we have now completed the building for new owners.
The building is looking great and was handed over ready for occupancy in late March 2020.
